Edna Ruth Bean, born on June 21, 1933, in Equality, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on November 8th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. A cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Edna embraced her role as a homemaker with dedication and love.
Edna was a proud graduate of Harrisburg High School, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with care and commitment to her family. She was known for her warm personality and the joy she found in being a grandmother and great-grandmother, always nurturing and caring for her loved ones.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Bonnie) Bean and Keith (Tena) Bean, both of Eldorado. Edna also leaves behind her daughter, Kathy (Joel) Stanley, as well as her grandchildren: Chris (Amy) Bean, Joshua Bean, Shawn (JaCee) Bean, Brandi (John) Gunning, Stacy (Anthony) Olvera, Adam (Ashton) Stanley, Annika Hopkins, John Lane, and Jessica (Joseph) Oldham.
